In my ’42 GC as axis, in sept ’43, 2nd Pz Army is due to withdraw. I’m not particularly fussed as losing a homeopathic army will mean I concentrate available mech units into 3 proper full strength panzer armies. (as far as is possible in late ’43).

Will he bugger off with the withdrawing HQ unit? Should I promote the regimental mascot to take command? I’d rather not waste the precious AP’s if he goes back into the pool.
