redmarkus4 -> Air supply change (5/2/2012 8:28:55 AM)
Hi. I have been reading up on WW2 air supply drops and one point that strikes me is the frequency with which drops actually fell in enemy territory and were of benefit to the enemy. At Kohima in 1944 the Japanese actually used air-dropped British mortar ammunition to bombard the Garrison (using captured mortars).
So, I am thinking that an interesting change to the air supply logic would be to add a random chance that enemy forces in adjacent hexes to the target hex also get a supply boost. This could had some spice to the whole air drop routine.

If this is going to be implemented, I already foresee a discussion like "maybee in bad weather, but not when clear". Recently someone has suggested to introduce mixed (fuel/supply) drops for a whole stack, which I would consider more urgent.
