zeke99 -> Western Front and Italy - how to (2/27/2012 7:30:56 AM)

Paused playing for some time and looking for advice for the best way to extend the time until Western and South Front crash or how to minimize losses. Thanks for any help [&o]

These fronts will collapse, if you take too many units out for the East Front, it will happen sooner, but either way it will happen.

You need to prepare to reinforce these fronts after collapse and not be too over-extended in the East.

If you want to play an undisturbed East Front game, you could use WIRHack to disable those front events and just get on with Russia. The scenario could be, total victory in the West in 1940. [:)]

Thanks. What are the dates these fronts are due? About the same as historical?

It should happen around the historical time-scale and AFAIK if you reduce the units on that front it may be earlier, if you have more units it may delay collapse for a while, but it will still happen.

Here is a strategy guide, remember this was written before some of the updates in the game.

Here is another guide, same thing, written before some updates, but this has some advice on fronts.
