Here in Brazil everything is celebrated with fireworks. Needless to say that NYE is no exception. This year was more of the same and the intensity left clouds of smoke in the night sky and the smell of gunpowder prevailed. A fitting back round for AE.
My dog freaks out at the sound of the explosions so I set up a table and chair outside to stay with her. The table and chair were for? I'm glad you asked. I spent about 4 hours with my notebook doing a first turn while she (the dog) cowered at my feet and I rubbed her head and back.
This morning all has returned to normal until the populace awakens and then expends any fireworks left over.
