I just finished campaign as Germans (took me something around six-seven hours).

The scenario needs little more adjusting and polishing, however at the current stage can provide quite lot fun. I think that the beta version can be released next week, and the full version just after the release of 1.02 patch.

North Africa, Italians were doing well until the end of 1942, then the Brits pulled a lot of units and I must intervene, due to the supply problems I have lost two Panzer Armies

Yanks, surprised me with their landing in April 1944 and were doing pretty well until I produced couple of inf corps and armies

Where should we post feedback on the Lightning War beta ?

Depends on the issue you would like to post.
However if you would like to keep everything together, the best place might be the AAR section

Just played a couple of games as Germany for the first few turns through to the fall of Poland so not really AAR worthy.

Noticed that nearly every unit had it's own commander. For Germany - 16 land/air units on the board with 14 commanders between them (87%).

Given the proportions in the Grand Campaign (17 commanders between 106 units = 16%) I think this probably needs to be reduced down to 3. Probably 2 ground and 1 air commander.

The same is the case for all other nations.

Played through to T11 as USSR - didn't do much with the USSR just wanted to observe the German AI

Observations on the German AI

1. Didn't attack at all with the Tac Bomber unit
2. For the first 4 turns (until fall of Poland) all German air units rebased themselves each turn
3. From then until T11 with attacks happening against the Low Countries and Denmark by ground units all of the air units including the Italian fighter clustered within 1-2 hexes of Berlin with the Tac to the East and therefore again making no ground attacks.
4. German ground units didn't seem to combine to make any multi hex attacks on a target unit.
5. German units did not occupy objective hexes where an enemy unit had been destroyed even though multiple units had AP to reach the hex and no enemy units were nearby - they did however then occupy it in the following turn.

Also noted that the French 5e and 3e Armies abandoned the Majinot Line to fall back on Paris.

Is this map going to be in Time of Fury or has this now become a new game called Strategic War in Europe?

This particular scenario will be released also for Time of Fury.
Strategic War in Europe is different entity.

It morphed into the game Strategic War In Europe, instead of a scenario for ToF, I think. Go get that game, it's cheap.

WTF? We need a smaller scale scen in ToF and we were told it's planned for ToF so this is...lame

Don't take my word for it. Maybe I'm wrong. But it was a freebie anyway, so I doubt its high on the priority list.

Btw wasn't there a way to change the German flag in the game into the historically more appropriate swastika?
