xnavytc -> newbie question (7/19/2011 4:14:58 PM)

How do u tell if a hex has a bridge across it, when I move my mouse over the hex it shows super river etc but no bridges but when I move a unit to that hex it says I can destroy bridges, anyway to tell before I move my units

Kamerad,

you probably refer to the roads parallel to the river, canal, etc. Unfortunately this has to be fixed and I am one of the advocates who wants this implemented. Parallel roads to rivers should NOT be treated as bridges at all.

Amen. Sorely in need of fixing. Don't understand why it wasn't many releases ago. When I make a map I don't allow roads to run parallel to super rivers in the same hex for this very reason. Even if it means a non historic map.

Yes - I always have to reminded about that[:D] Maybe they'll fix who can blow up a bridge - I've found that the split AA units are
good for this![8|]
