Since this is an open tread and we are currently fighting out land wars at China and India, I'm halting some of the reports for later. I don't want to give away intel to the Japanese yet. Currently the situation is as follows. The Japanese troops have taken most of the DEI, Malaya and the Philippines. Luzon however has still not been attacked. Japanese troops landed at northern Australia and have taken some islands in the Pacific, including Noumea and Tulagi, but have left others for the Allies, incl. Rabaul, Wake and Tarawa. The main battle is currently being fought in India, where Japanese troops have taken Ceylon and landed near Madras. The British troops are withdrawing... Here is an overview of the losses of capital warships. I'm quite happy with the list except for losing the CV Lexington to a submarine.
