Yes, and the fog of war is more advanced and realistic than other games IMHO. You are not quite sure exactly what the enemy's strength will be, even if you can identify the hex as containing 2 rifle divisions and a Tank Brigade. What is their morale? What is their fatigue? Supply situation etc? So the final Combat Value of the enemy is more difficult to guess at as in real life. Recon missions by air may spot enemy tanks in the forests but they may not...
