Can Claymores attack vehicles?

Post by Adam Parker »

A quickie here. Wondering if the rules for small arms vs vehicles apply to claymores as well as mines?

Thanks,
Adam.

Adam,

According to the rules as written, yes. But man, I wonder how you can come up with all those weird questions :-)

LOL!

Well, Mark does write with lots of room for them!

Anyway I've decided to use common sense and make Claymores anti-personnel only.

Mark deserves a lot of Kudos for providing gamers with Ordnance rules of only 1.5 pages and Vehicle (Armor) rules of just 1 page. Getting those tanks out is going to be an absolute ease of pleasure, there so much detail provided for with indeed much less "guff".

1.5 pages and you can still go "clunk" when a round hits a turret as opposed to a hull. Nice [;)]

Gamers - you won't feel the need to be stuck playing "Guards Counter-Attack" for a year while you read Chapters of mech and ord rules here.

Thanks for all your answers Stephane, Crabe and Hannes too.
Adam.

Not sure about the game rules, but in real life, a claymore would be pretty devastating against a soft vehicle (truck, jeep, etc.) and the people inside it and pretty useless against an armored vehicle.
