Doobious vs JanSorensen

We have just finished Win42. The game saw some very heavy fighting over Gibraltar, a heavy air war in Europe and heavy bombings in China sofar. Eventually the English evacuated Gibraltar and Cairo.

Loses sofar are (prior to the Allied turn). Keep in mind that France/Belgium/Spain covers a good deal of the WA loses.

My game vs DragonHeart from the first round has completed with a unconditional surrender from the Allied Nations in the Summer of 42. Was a great game and kind of a shame the Allies gave up. If I do another tourney I do believe the rules for advancing to the next round will be different.

Although with loosing England Allies are capable to win the game alone. I was not going for a quick victory rather for a win in the long run therefore i invested alot into research.

Unfortunately i´m hardly at home the following 3 weeks (unexpected) and when i m at home i have take care of my family. With loosing 3 weeks it´s better to hand over the games as after 3 weeks you loose track of the game.

I have also inform SGT Rice about my situation.

Both games (Mr,Quiet and SGT Rice) were similar (loosing England) the only difference was that in one game russia was not attacked so far and is very very strong it´s a pitty that i cant follow my longtermstrategy.

I hope you dont mind so much my surrender but i think it´s better than delaying a game for so long.

Greetings

<sounds Taps>

Its Sp 43 and Jan is shredding the Axis... I think I know the next match-up, and it dosen't involve me. LOL

For awhile I thought I was doing good. That must have been Jan toying with me. Cuz when Wi 43 came along , Japan attacked Pearl, and the WA exploded all over the Pacific. Total nightmare for Japan.

Jan is an Allied master. [&o] [&o] [&o]

Looking forward to another oppertunity to play him. [;)]

Dragonheart is an excellent opponent; I regret that the real world has called him away from our match.

Looks like I have "earned" the "doobious" honor of becoming Jan's next victim by having two successive opponents called away to work. Alas, ours is not to reason why ...

Jan has finished me off my Axis already - I'm embarassed to say how - I offered to fight on in a lost cause, but he kindly offered me a rematch instead. All hail the king of the Dedicated PBEMers! Congrats Jan.

Well done and Well deserved.

I have ideas for another tournament, but I do believe I will wait until after the next patch is released.
