Still looking for people. Experienced means not your first PBEM game,... not expert by any stretch. I am far from being really good at this game.

Well, the experienced part kind of threw me off. [;)] I am ready to take to you, either one-on-one with me as the Allies, or I will play the W. Allies.

Conditions you set are acceptable.

Let me know.

I'm in. [:D]

I'll take any side.

You guys do at least one turn per day so I'll play with ya. Unlike some other games I'm involved in.

Can't wait to play TCP/IP.

LOL doob you dont have to tell me.....We are doing good in our other game, if we can ever get it finished.

I was afraid that experienced might be the wrong word to use. I just want people that understand not only the basic rules (supply etc) but also know some of the details of the game.. For instance, hitting territories that contain artillery, using air, before sending in ground troops if possible, tech being very important, etc., .

But as I said, I am no expert. Not even close, I still get surprised by things, and there are a few people I know of that are much better than me. I just want a game where its close in skill level. I dont want to beat up on someone too easily, and I dang sure dont want to get beaten up too easily.[;)]

EDIT- how about we play the axis again doob? Same sides?

If you want. I don't mind playing Hirohito, hehe.

I'll play any side though.

I have been practicing my Allied Command Skills lately against a cranked up AI, so I feel good about playing any Allied side now.

Soviets are fun once the real fighting gets going.

China needs to go "turtle" from the start.

WA is a bit tricky, the logistics tend to be a bit difficult, but fun. [;)]

Up to you guys...

Ok, then. Lets do it this way. Whoever else decides to play chooses which nation they want,Germany, Japan or Russia/China, and Doob and I can take the remaining nations. sajbalk, if you know someone you would like to play as Russia/China, then tell to come and play.

It looks like we have a game set up. Looking forward to it. Who is starting as Germany?

Whoever is japan, please e-mail your turn to sajbalk@aol.com.

I should always be able to do 1 turn/day. I am in Central Time Zone.

This is a ONE TURN per day MINIMUM game. Yet 2 days have passed and I dont have a file. I am going to PM il duces finest and sajbalk, to find out where the hold up is. If I dont get answer form one or both, I will replace them with people who will actually play as often as they say they will.

I am getting VERY tired of people that join a game, then dont play as often as they said they would.

I am the W.Alllies. I have not yet received the first turn from IDF. But, I think you should give IDF a little slack, at least at the start of the game.

If this wasnt the THIRD 2x2 game I have tried, with NONE of them getting finished because of people not doing turns like they said.......well, I have to draw the line at some point. It says clearly in the rules "Minimum of 1 turn per day."

2 days have passed. When a third passes its over. Sorry, but at some point you have to start enforcing the rules or they are meaningless.

EDIT- But he still has time to get his turn off before I give up on the game.

I am playing against I.D.F. in another 2x2 game that has gone fairly smoothly to date. Understand your frustration, but so far I have had good luck with speedy players, except this one.

Unfortuntely how speedy he plays in another game does not help this game.

I have decided. I am starting a list of deadbeat players. Right now I have tabF94 on my list, in 2 hours I add IDF. I am going to post this list sometime today, and I will be keeping it up to date, and ask others to add the people they have played that didnt finish or do turns as often as they said they would.

Its time to start warning people who the deadbeats are.
