A submarine observation...

Post by Terminus »

I have a US submarine in early december 1942. A fat Japanese AK comes into my periscope crosshairs, and my sub launches a torpedo spread. Logically, one of the following should happen:

- One or more of the torpedoes hit and detonate
- One or more of the torpedoes hit but fail to detonate
- The torpedoes all miss

But there is, in WitP, a fourth option. The sub fires its torpedoes, and NOTHING happens. It simply goes from combat animation to summary screen. [&:]

I've seen this on all sides, concerning sub torpedo fire and ship depth charge runs. All of which lacked the combat animations of misses and or hits. I assumed it was becuase the misses were so bad that they weren't anywhere near the target.[:D]

Maybe it is an issue though.
Yamato, IMO the best looking Battleship.

Sub had to crash dive to avoid it's own torpedeos? [:D]

Most likely a bug of some kind. [:(]
