Worth buying?

Battles In Normandy is the third game in the Decisive Battles game series. Battles in Normandy recreates all aspects of the Normandy campaign, from the landings on the first day to the final climax of the campaign at Falaise. Strategic Studies Group rewrote the Decisive Battles game engine for Battles in Normandy with a host of new special rules for amphibious and airborne operations, plus a huge number of other enhancements.

Yes. Its the best operational wargame going. Unlimited replay value, especially when you do PBEM. No two PBEM game turn out the same. Your op plan will work against some players and fail totally if you're not careful against others.

You also get the Ardennes Offensive scenario with the main Overlord Battleset. Two free battles are available at Run5 (Kalach Bridge and Kursk). Four games for the price of one!

Go ahead![8D]
Each PBEM is completely different from another one,so you can replay the game everlastingly without getting bored and I have already played a dozen PBEM and will continue[8D]
I adore this game.[:)]Had just to correct some mispelling city names through the editor...[:D][:D][:D]

Sorry guys, the best operational wargame is currently Airborne Assault:Highway to the Reich. [;)]

More seriously, I do agree with most posters : BiN is a very good game, robust, well made, well designed, with a lot of replay value. It is very easy to play but has a lot of depth. The AI is quite good also.

If you like operational battle games with units such as regiments, you will love this game. The only thing I can off hand think of to make it better would be more scenairos.
