New Allied Ships vol 2 Artwork updated 7/13/04 1040 AM CST

Post by Tankerace »

Since everyone seemed to like my 7 set sample, I have made a set of 15 additional ships. On most of them, I rework their turrets, or made their superstucture more historically accurate. Enjoy.

Oh, Spooky, if you could host this pack too I'd be much obliged.

EDIT: I have updated the pack, fixing the Crosley graphic, and added a new Buckley graphic. In addition, I have improved the shading effect of the ships in com,bat animations.

Ships included:

New York Class BB
Arkansas Class BB
New Mexico Class BB
Indiana Class BB
South Dakota Class BB
Iowa Class BB
King George V Class BB
Royal Soverign Class BB
Richlieu Class BB
Renown Class BC
Alaska Class CB
Benson Class DD
Manley Class APD
Crosley Class APD EDIT: Now a modified DE
S Class Sub
Buckley Class DD

In addition, I redid my Queen Elizabeth class BB, making the For tripod a little smaller.

The updated pack is up, just redownload the vol 2 pack to get the fixes.

Hi

In applying these excellent bmps I noticed that the Crosley (308) is incorrect for both the original and new. This class of APDs was converted from DEs, not old 4-piper DDs.

Really? Heh, ok, I can fix that pretty quickly. I'll toss something together tonight, a new DE APD graphic won't be that hard.

Thanks Spooky.

Mr.Frag, can you be more specific here, please. What other artwork will be replaced in the patch?

Now for the question: Any ETA?
I am about to start two long scenarios, and, if it is a matter of one or two days, I'd probably wait.[&o]

Just curious does this mean only the art will be put in for people that use the editor or the actual units that used these will be put in the game itself as well???

...also what is realism screen art???

I wouldn't think so, but to be safe backup the originals, and then you can put them in if need be. Usually, if there are updated graphics, they just copy new ones over the old. At least that has been my past experience on graphic editing.
