Different Scenarios, Same Numbers

Different Scenarios, Same Numbers

Post by dgstokes »

The Auf zum Ruhm and Fall of Tatstinkaya - East Front scenarios carry the same scenario number 79. To keep my numbering system as compatable as possible, what should I change the Auf zum Ruhm scenario's number to? Sorry to ask such simple questions, but I assume future downloads might eventually conflict if I pick a random number. Thanks.

That one comes from outside the SPWAW scenario design group and I cannot control those numbers. No way I could do that.

What I recommend is that you renumber all such scenarios beginning at 200. Remember, you can store up to 1,000 in SPWAW.

Our scenarios, as we do them, will continue to be numbered consecutively.

This means that scenarios 55-80 are either nearly done or being worked on by our group.

As more and more scenarios come from you guys, you'll be faced with this problem.
So always look before unzipping to make sure the space is not already taken.
That is how I am handling it.

My pleasure DG. I'll keep you posted on the development of the scenario manager. I hope we have it soon. With space for 1,000 I think we'll need it Image
