Request for Possum 1942 and 1943 Scenarios

Post by K.J.001 »

I wonder if Possum has any plans to make 1942 and 1943 Scenarios similar to that of 1941. I sincerely hope that he does.

My first game with Possum 6 (at even) is almost over after the first two turns of clear weather in 1942. I have annihilated, either through shatter or outright surrender, nearly half of the Soviet frontline divisions. In so doing, Moscow is already out of supply. Even the present bad weather in May could only save Moscow (and the Soviet Union) temporarily. Leningrad had already fallen last September.

Sigh! I am sure that winning convincingly against the AI in the 1941 Scenario even with Possum 6 is the norm at this forum. Maybe, I ought to play my very first PBEM game.;) In the meantime, I need more practice, and hence the request for Possum 1942 and 1943 Scenarios.:D

Only in the 44 scenarios does the Germans not stand a chance against the AI. It's not the materiel that matters, but the mind behind them. You'll find pbem much more rewarding.

Yes, I have seen the 1944 Scenario. The first turn is already a disincentive to play any further.

In due course, I shall play my first PBEM game. In the meantime, I shall endeavor to complete my first WIR game since the mid-1980s!:D

If you want a nicer '44 scenario, go to Davewolf's site and get Mist's version, which seems better researched historically. Good luck playing the AI - but PBEM is really much more fun ;)

Thanks!:)

By the way, is it compatible with WIR 3.3 and Possum 6?
