FITE2- Lobster Axis, Cpt Flam Soviet

Post by cpt flam »

Here we go
I will have one turn delay.
First turn has been hard.
Air losses of 2 423 for 212 claimed.
Part of them can come from mixed units where range is the longer one.

I included a picture sector of Lvov.
Part of air losses are there too.
As visible they are making the most to isolate our troopers.
As usual a lot of units are reorganizing.

What will be your strategy? Will you try to retreat as fast as possible, or try an advanced defense in some key area to slow the Axis down?

for the moment
a reinforced corp will fight for Minsk.
most of the Tank corps are asked to delay the invaders.
I must gain some time to form a defensive line.

second turn for me
I put a view over Minsk

they are actually running around us to cut our supply and isolate us
my air force is trying to recover
I must wait turn 4 to put some on air superiority
at this time air shock will become 120-80
for the moment 150-5

we begin to destroy bridge, on turn 1 i did only in view

turn 3 and the nightmare continue

Minsk is actually supplied but this will not be for a long time
I began to put some I 153 on Air superiority
they are not the best but they are the most in number and replacement. All they can catch will be good.
Reinforcement begin to arrive.
We moved the factory from Gomel. It was the most threatened.

In the south
their advance elements reach the Stalin line.

You can see how many of their units have been divided.
Even like that I can't push them much.

We'll see later, how this resolve.
Air losses are visible.

southern part is a mess

last turn I moved units by rail, Gomel factory was this turn

my units in contact are literally blocked
even stacked trying to move one, result in rout or disappear sometime

part of them are begging supply, but I can't do much for them without having more isolated.

Turn 5
all the rail capacity was used to move units
even like that many must walk toward the front line

Minsk has not been attacked yet
they must wait infantry for that

farther south along Dniester

12th Army is blocked by Hungary units

I made few attacks killing 3 Axis units:
1 Partisan in Tartu
a company part of the Reconnaissance unit of a Panzer division
a battalion of Rumania (Cavalry brigade divided)

better than nothing
air war continue with 44 planes for us vs 6 of them [&o]

in the north
Minsk failed to the invaders, pocket is reduced
First unit lost for them is a regiment from 30th Infantry near Pskov, trying an assault.

My lost are visible for Infantry, Cavalry and some support.
Majority of them were in border troops, some Mechanized corps and Cavalry divisions.

Air losses can be seen too.

southern part of the front
I'm trying to recover part of 6th and 12th Armies

a lot of adversary engineers are on the front line, this way not much bridges are repaired.
this must hinder part of their supply.

Air war cost much for our fighters as you can see.
Only Lagg units have not yet suffered.
I get a problem with some groups which stay disorganized in occupied territory.

Thanks for this AAR [:)] Soviet losses don't look harsh to me. But the fast german advance is concerning.
