Turn 345. Willie's main effort is in the south and with 55 turns to go I think he will win as there anr not 55 hexes to go and he is now advance 1 line of hexes per turn. The last time I played Willie we got to turn 38? something and it may be about the same again with this game

impressive defensive perimeter around Berlin [:)] On the other hand - impressive masses of tanks on Soviet side. Eager to see how it plays out!

The start of turn 347. Last turn Willie all but destroyed my air force. His main effort is from the south east but he is also closing in from the North. With 53 turns to go I think I have Buckley's chance of getting a draw or winning.

Aye, about 13 hexes to go and 53 turns. The math looks bad.

The start of turn 348. Being the optimism that I am the good thing about my position is that my turns are now only taking half an hour. I remember when I first started turns were taking several hours over a couple of nights.

The start of turn 349 23 Oct 1944 and the battle for Berlin has started. All the hexes within the yellow line are 100% entrenchments and all units are at 150% supply.

The start of turn 350. Willie is in the process of surrounding Berlin to the north. It would appear that currently his main effort is still coming from the South East, He only gained a couple of hexes last turn and I received 2 new divisions.

Mid way into the turn. I have counter attacked at the yellow circle and pushed 2 regts back. I expect to loose the hex next turn but this is now a game of delay. 48 turns to go.
