RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
Thank you for the new additions to the DB:
REF #4825 Nigerian Super Tucano A-29
Ref loadouts:
#26295
#26296
Both these load outs are described as APKWS II but have conventional Hydra rockets not APKWS II.
Thanks
K
Have amended it with screen shot of the issue.

Maybe adjusts KC-46 tanker aircraft (3687) IOC to 2019 or 2020. First not actually accepted by USAF until 2019. Rest not till 2020.

The latest photo of rumored Type 003 CV is revealed, and has very similar characteristics of warship hull like what Type 002 CV was made many years ago. I cannot fully predict what armament or specification the 003 will have, but I can make some rough guesstimates.
Dysta,
Noted for possible inclusion.

Reviewing update 1009.31.1
Yaser,
Patience is a virtue. I realize you put these in some time ago but we have limited resources to apply the many forum update/change requests.

Thanks for the recent great DB updates! Can you add RIM-174A ERAM SM-6 Blk 1A and Aster 30 Blk 1 (ABM) as weapon records so we can use the scenario editor to add it to units?
Orca,
Noted for possible future DB inclusion. Any references/documentation that you can provide will help the process.

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
Sorry I might have not explained the request clearly, or maybe I’m missing something.
But I think both are already included in the database as they are visible when I browse the db viewer. However they don’t seem to be available as options when I’m adding a weapon to a mount in the scenario editor (even though I can see them in the db viewer).
Does this make sense? If not I can to to post a screenshot later.

Wayne & Rory
Any chance we could get the CA-134 Des Moines Hypothetical build (CWDB #2590) transferred over to DB3000? I think there may be a use for her and at least one of her sisters in the later Northern Fury scenarios.
Thanks

Bart,
I'm sure it can be done. Need to check with the folks to see if there is a reason for not doing it.

Orca,
Hmmm. My first check of DB3K_477.dbe showed that the RIM-174A can be carried by the below listed platforms. The Aster 30 is not there but will be included in the next DB release.

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
The current BAT (#1190) that's in the database doesn't have all it's proper weapons platforms. It was an Anti-Tank munition that was launched from either the M270 MLRS onboard the MGM-164 ATACMS missile (of which carried 13 BATs) or from the MQ-5A/MQ-5B drones (these drones already have been implemented). The munition finds vehicles to attack with its acoustic/infrared sensors, not a laser track sensor as it has right now (the laser type of guidance was only added to the GBU-44 Viper Strike variant of the BAT.) Once a target is identified it fires a rocket motor to propel it at speed to the target. It uses a tandem charge warhead to penetrate targets. Source: Wikipedia for the BAT
The GBU-44 Viper Strike is also missing one of it's weapons platforms as it can be equipped onto both versions of the KC-130J Harvest Hawks in the database. Source: Wikipedia for the KC-130J.

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
#3173-AC-130J Ghostrider only has it's internal weapons available, it's missing the weapons that it can also equip onto it's wings. These would be any combination of four of either the AGM-114 hellfire missile, GBU-39 SDB, and GBU-53/B SDB IIs on each wing. Source: Wikipedia for the AC-130.

There are 3 version of RIM-174A in the db. The RIM-174A ERAM SM-6 Blk 1A-- 2017, ABM, anti-surface (#3541) has no default weapon carriers and is not visible in the scenario editor add weapon record window. Please see attachment. Thanks again.

All variants of the Maverick are also missing the capability to be equipped onto any of the: AH-64's (four missiles), any of the AH-1W's (two missiles), and the Iranian AH-1J (also two missiles as famously used during the Iran-Iraq war.)
