Manipulating OODA

Post by vettim89 »

I can see from the documentation the is a table for OODA. However I cannot find the descriptors for the table aywhere

Is it possible to use LUA to manipulate the OODA of a unit. For example, lets say an airborne fight is under GCI. I want to simulate the loss os situational awareness if the GCI is destroyed. I thought I could do this by altering the OODA settings. Can this be done? If so, how?

OODA depends on unit proficiency. Changing of proficiency produces an effect on OODA cycle.

But probably problem has another solution. How you simulate CGI?

OODA values are defined for each unit based on it's assigned proficiency level, and can be reviewed in the unit's datasheed in the DB viewer.
