Italy captures Marseilles (automatic).

Italy rebase one bomber from France to Genoa.

Japan rebase one LND3 to Tungkwan (from hex 76, 136). And one fighter is rebased from China to Japan.

von Rundstedt, and von Bock, reorganize 7 of the attackers.

First up, Italian Coast.

The French sub initiates. The Allies don't add any air support. How about the Axis? 115 up to 2-box and Condor to 3-box.

All the Italian planes apart from the RE-2000 can reach the 1-box. The RE-2000 the 0-box.

The German NAV3 (Henkiel) to the 0-box in the Italian Coast.

Edit: Changed FTR3 to NAV3.

Searches: Allies 2, Axis 5. The Allies find and use their 4 surprise points to choose sub combat.

The Heinkels force the Allied subs back to port.

CW sub goes to Malta, the French one to Beirut.

The Allies don't add any additional air. German Condor can reach 3-box. NAV's the 2-box. The LND 1-box normal, 2-box extended. The FTR the 1-box. Any air-support flying? Already an Italian NAV in the 4-box.

Searches: Allies 4, Axis 5. Both find. The two Swordfish fly as bombers and are cleared through.

First round, the Axis roll 11 for NE and the Allies a 7, aborting the Italian NAV. Where shall it return to?

Is La Spezia available? Otherwise Milan. If that doesn't work either, then Leghorn.

La Spezia it is.

AA fire disrupts some of the torpedo runs (3 1 3 9 3 5) but first struck is the BB Conte Di Cavour.

Who takes the second D?

The CA Garibaldi. The Italian fleet aborts to La Spezia after this combat round.

Some sharp handling by the Garibaldi's captain minimises the damage taken.

Edit: Wrong image and correct one not saved.

Garibaldi rolled an 8 for an A. The other BB also took an A but it was irrelevant with the ships aborting anyway.

No air missions or rail moves.

Land move for USSR
Communist CAV div in China enters Manchuria (moves one hex NE on resource).
ARM and MOT div from Minsk to Kaunas.

Nationalist Chinese moves
Kunming WL one hex NW to 90,132
INF from Chengtu one hex SE to 82,132
INF from chunking one hex west and HQ from that hex to Chunking.

CW Gladiators rebase from Bristol to Cardiff.

No reorgs.

The weather remains helpful to the Allies.

Hello
It seems I'm not even a whole year late. Just finished reading this AAR too.
Do you intend to proceed with the game ? I'd really like to see what lemaonade the Axis will manage to make out of their lemons.

Best Regards
