JYDGE shooter my new guilty pleasure...

Post by jack54 »

https://www.gog.com/game/jydge

I don’t play shooters very often but I’m having fun playing JYDGE.

Real time top down/ isometric twin-stick style shooter. I got it for $5.99 on GOG.

Most reviews are good too!

Glad your liking it!

You should try "Neon Chrome", same dev [;)]

Look up Brigador. You might like it too.
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

Thanks guys

I checked both games on GOG. Brigador was there but no Neon Chrome...

2 days later Neon Chrome is released on sale for $5.99 US dollars.

Both look a bit more hectic than Jydge.

I haven't played a shooter in years and it seems to be a nice diversion from my brain drain strategy games.

I may have fallen down a very addictive rabbit hole. :-)

Yeap, Neon Chrome is on sale...

Brigador Up-Armored (enhanced edition)...

It´s not on sale but you can add it to your wish list if you like.

These two and "Synthetik Legion Rising", also twin stick shooter, are the games I go to when I don´t know what to play. All three are great fun, and challenging IMHO.

I really think GOG is not having problems with credit cards.[&o]

They already have enough problems with Matrix game updates that are incompatible with the GOG version....[:(]

Well if you like JYDGE (10tons Games), then you might like it´s lastest product Tesla vs Lovecraft which is on sale right now on GOG. Top down twin stick shooter similar to Crimsonland, also by 10tons. 60% off (€5.99).

Thanks Red2112 [:)]

I watched a few videos of 'Tesla vs Lovecraft' and it really does seem to be closer to Crimsonland than Neon Chrome or Jydge. I think they call it Arena style. Hectic!

I think I like the pace of Neon and Jydge; you can 'kind of' take your time.

BTW I may be enjoying Neon Chrome as much if not more than Jydge. Seems 10tons makes quality top down twin-stick shooters.

Yeap, I have become a fan of 10tons. Glad your enjoying Neon Chrome.

Since, I do suggest "Synthetik Legion Rising". There´s a free standalone expansion "Synthetik Arena" which you can try so you can get a feel of what Synthetik is all about...

I do love SLR, great fun. Do play with manual reload on, it makes it alot more interesting and fun.

Another one I almost forgot: RUNNING WITH RIFLES. It has multiplayer too.

Thanks again... [:)]

I was surprised to see that Synthetik Legion Rising needed such a high cpu. AMD Fx 8320 3.5 ghz.
It’s an 8 core.
That’s the first game I found where my gpu was enough but my cpu was questionable.

My AMD Fx 6300 6 core 3.5 ghz is close but thay do say the 8320 is minimum.

Looks like a fun game.

Running Sytnthetik on a i5 3rd gen, so a bit old with no issues. Try arena and see how that runs...
