It and many others dump devices into the pool. And supply/ fuel at the base. Most of the convoys show up at Capetown. Some at other off map bases....GP

So is there any action to take with these units or just let them run there course. I notice they tend to withdraw shortly after arriving.

Example...Look at a convoy when it has arrived at Cape Town, (for instance)...You can put your pointer on the convoy icon and click..It will give you the breakdown of exactly how many ships it has, along with details of the cargo...Might be 6000 men...30 Valentine tanks, 12000 gallons of oil, etc.

I understand that the fuel and supplies brought in by those convoys are added to the base's inventory just like any other supply. But, the rest of the stuff - tanks, troops, etc - do those just go to pools? What happens with them?

Just curious. When do they get put into the pools, when it arrives or when it withdraws?

I remember getting a dialogue saying that convoy couldn't dock in Capetown because docks full. Fortunately I cleared in out and all good...I wonder if I had not whether convoy would have unloaded?

The reinforcement/supply convoys show up as land units - no dock space is used by them. You must have been seeing a message from some of your own convoys arriving and not finding a berth. Congestion at Cape Town is quite common.
