Not working properly

Post by jgorski52 »

I've recently purchased the 150th Anniversary Edition. It was fine once. Then the next time I launched it, the titles were not readable; they were blank rectangles. What can I do?

site or steam version?

patch level and a report please,

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post as it's a Txt file which is then permitted to attach to the forum.

as your a new member, just send the report to me and i'll attach thanks

then see if any of these settings help the game run

tm.asp?m=4454024

directplay for one is needed,

and as most game of a given age also like media player to be loaded, doesn't have to be the default player, just installed, try that one as well,

good luck

and make sure all the game pre requites are installed, drx 9c etc etc etc

RE:Antietam Not working properly

Post by stiffstarch »

I had SOW Gettysburg and the Antietam on an older computer. Now I have a newer more powerful system. Installed Gettysburg and after much trial and error finally got that to work.

Installed the Antietam module and it does not show up after game starts as an option under Other Battles

Any ideas or suggestions on how to get Antietam to work would be appreciated.

Thanks

Having just gotten a new rig also, I installed Antietam today with no issues. The installer directed to my GB install with no effort on my part. Maybe you changed the default location of your GB install so the Antietam install missed it. I suggest you uninstall Antietam, if it installed at all, and reinstall Antietam, directing the install to your Gb directory.

Also, check to make sure you don't have two GB installs. This could be why you're having issues.
