Caught in a For Never Loop

Game: V1.01
Axis: AI
Allies: Player
Date: December 20, 1940
Graphics: 2D

On this turn, Germany will Declare War on Yugoslavia.
German Forces will take Belgrade, wipe out all the Yugoslavian Units, except 1 Corp in Nish.

On the Road from Belgrade to Nish,
1) a German Corp will advance adjacent to Nish and Attack,
2) that German Corp still has Action points left, it does not have a Base under it,
3) an Italian Corp moves behind the German Corp, on the same road, and exhausted its Action Points,
4) after other battles have occurred, focus goes back to the German Corp adjacent to Nish,

The For Never Loop by the AI:
- This German Corp is selected, indicated by the Selection of the unit, and a Sound Effect,
- Another Different Sound effect is heard, and it is Deselected.
- This repeats Over and Over And Over....
and will not get past this point.

I have restarted this Autosave file 3 times,
some slightly different results in other Combats,
but fails at the same point with the same result.

As a Retired Programmer I know the difficulties in a new release.
especially with different Platforms and Different Computers over a Wide Network.

I wish you guys some Good Luck in your endeavours.
I just love this Series of Games.

Will forward it to you.

I re-ran the file to see if the same result holds true.
Test #1: The Yugoslavia unit in Nish retreated this time and the problem did not occur,
Test #2: The Yugoslavia unit in Nish did NOT retreat and the resultant problem occurred.
