Simultaneous Turns

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Simultaneous Turns

Post by dhucul2011 »

If I want to play around with simultaneous turns for the 1939 scenario it will double the number of turns.

What should be adjusted in the editor?

1. Action points for units...check
2. Research progression....check
3. Diplomatic chit %....check
4. MPPs normalized to 14 days...check
5. Some scripts will need adjusting...check

Anything I may be missing?

You might also consider halving production or doubling costs to keep things consistent. Not sure if MPPs normalized to 14 days will produce the effect you're seeking. You will have to verify through playtesting to determine if things are "too much", "too little", or "just right". The rest looks OK, but again verify through playtesting. "Some scripts will need adjusting" may be understated. Script buildup times and plan lengths may all need adjusting, and that's a lot of work.
