My friend, Joseph Sekida ("SqzMyLemon") died last night after a long bout with pancreatic cancer. I got to know him through this game and forum and am grateful for having known him. He was a great partner and a good man.

Man, Andre, I am very sad to hear this. You were especially close to him. Obvert too, I believe. This is sad news for the community as a whole but especially for you guys and others who were close to him.

I think his last appearance was perhaps six or eight weeks ago. He handled things so well. He was a gentleman.

Thanks for bringing word to us. If there's a way we can contact the family via email or mail that seems appropriate, please let us know.

Sorry to hear that. I know that he was a model ship builder as well as a gamer.

Anyone who builds model ships is alright in my book.

Also, he seemed to have a love or desire for muscle cars.
I don’t know if he ever got that 1969 396 SS Chevelle but I sure hope so.

Luck is the residue of design……..Indeed...R.I.P.

Very sad to hear. I didn't know him too well, but I read his (and others' continuation) AAR. When he came on a few weeks ago, it sounded like he was getting better, but perhaps he was being stoic about it all. Anyways, rest in peace and good luck in the next chapter whatever or wherever that might be.

I knew Joseph from the forum. I learnt my first tricks as a Japanese from his AAR against Smeulders. Then we ran parallel games, against JocMeister and Spence, this is where we got to know each other. We then were opponents in 2016, had a lot of fun.

I had him on the phone last August, he was happy, enjoying summer. He was a nice forumite, a great opponent, and a good friend.

My thoughts go to his wife and his mother.
Rest in peace, Joseph, you will be missed.
