[SCEN ERROR] Scenario: Tanker Wars - LCS's still have the wrong loadout

Hello guys,

I saw a video in youtube from Jeff Shapiro (9 months old?) in which those LCS group had 18x NSM missiles. When I fire up this scenario, I have 16x Hellfire II's. Back then (old thread) I was supposed to have JSM's, but those magazines of the launcher-modules were empty.. so I had completely no missiles. What the heck is going on? I'm completely confused:

I had a computer with W7 64-Bit (german) and now I have a new gaming laptop with W10 (polish).
CMANO (from Steam)
ScenarioPack (from WarfareSims (NOT from Steam Workshop)
Even the Mission designer ("poaw" if I can correctly remember) was clueless.

I have a similar strange occurance in another thread called "Missing message option "NewWeaponsContact" -> Bug?" in which I need to add a line to the ini to let the option show up properly.

I hope to get some assistance.... I'm afraid of similar cases within other scenarios since these missing long range missiles were essential in "Tanker Wars".

Which version of the Community Pack do you have?

Hello Michael,

it's the following: CommunityScenarioPack039 (March 26 version).
I freshly installed CMANO on my new laptop and downloaded this scenario pack incl. images from warfaresims.

I can see in the INI file for the scenario that it is setting the JSM

My feeling is that the database record for the module doesn't exist in the database version that is loaded for the scenario (DB 473).

But then how did the others have the missiles over a year ago (and recently too), why didn't i have them and now suddenly (on a new computer) hellfires? So there may be more bugged scenarios like this? How do I fix it? If the scenario updates, will it have the old bug again?

michaelm is correct, the JSM mission module has been removed from the database.

Contact the scenario author and ask him/her to update their scenario to the latest DB and, if desired, add JSMs by:
--Adding the LCS Mission Module [Empty] -- Generic
--Adding JSM weapon records to the above mission module

Please include a save file in any future reports.

Guys, how am I gonna know if a scenario has one crucial thing missing AS a newb?
Imagine if there are more faulty scenarios... can this scenario be excluded from the scenario pack?

The Community packs are maintained by the 'community', and not the 'dev' team. Check the XLS that comes with the pack.
Not sure, but I believe the scenario in the pack are rebuilt to the latest DB when a new batch is released.
There may be older scenarios out there that shouldn't be rebuilt due to this sort of thing

Ok so.... how do I add the missing magazines called "LCS Mission Module" for the NSM Missiles for a LCS? I can't find any fitting magazine to these missiles for the "LCS Independence" and "LCS Jackson". The LCS Mission Module is like... gone. It was mentioned in a v1.08 update as an addition. It's been years..
Each of the LCS (Independence & Jackson) should have 8x NSM on board.

Hi Cabal, what you need to do is add a weapon mount containing the NSM module to the LCS.


Edit: Make sure the scenario has been updated to the latest DB before you do this! To update the scenarios DB go to editor --> Database and click update scenario to latest DB. Don't do a deep rebui;d just do the first option.

To do this select the LCS in the editor and click "weapons", once you've done that click add mount and check the "filter by keyword" button and search for NSM. You'll see an option for a quad pack for the NSM,add 4 of those and you'll be all set.

Thank you! I did it, finally! So, while 2 of these LCS have 8 hellfires per boat, LCS Independence and LCS Jackson had these NSM's: So each of these two had a pack or four of these packs?

Fort Worth and Detroit are loaded with Hellfires. Independence has 12 Joint Strike Missiles onboard
