Supported Resolutions

Post by Rake »

I use a widescreen as my main monitor. Native resolution is 3440 x 1440. When I try to run TotH, I receive a popup about the supported resolutions. I have played with all of my resolutions, but cannot find one that is supposedly supported by TotH that does not either stretch or include large black areas around the border.

I have tried searching the Tech Support forum under "resolution" but, like often happens with Matrix's search, returned nothing. I am running the latest patch available through the Members Area (v1.1.09). Attempting to update through the Main Menu gave me an error... something else that often happens with Matrix games.

I have my monitor connected to the laptop (Win7). I've read the post about running the game with resolution problems on Laptops. No help.

What's up with the game resolutions?

Thanks, Zak. After some trial, I was able to get the game to display reasonably well

Playing on 40+ inch monitor I was able to load the game by editing the 'Configuration' file to 'Windowed=Yes'.
