no music...

I know that many of you here in this forum don't care about music, but I do. So as there is no music in the game, where do you find great war music to listen to while playing, you who like to listen to music in the games. Is it only youtube?

Are you thinking of generic "snare drum and trumpets"? Or 99 Luft balloons?

I play my youtube playlist if I want some music for more "mood". I do the same for other games like CM and SB pro. Make a playlist of NATO list and PACT list. That is helpful.

I already changed my mainmenu music to this:

For some reason I love classic musics for Cold war. I know that 70~80 Cold War era is the era of synthesizer musics, pops, and retro musics, and my playlist also have some of them. But I prefer to have more "grand" mood. For the same reason I still like CC3's menu music.

OK this doesn't quite fit the theme but "Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising" has a great theme.

If you play scenarios in the 1970s you have to play this:

While I was working on DDR database, New Order - Blue Monday was often in my background soundtrack.

I watched Deutschland 1983 beforehand to set myself in the right mood and that track is the main theme.
