Armored Brigade - Iconic Units Preview

Post by Daniele »

Armored Brigade has an incredible database of units and equipment. With over 500 ground units to choose, accurate realism and flexibility are guaranteed.

Today we would like to show you a glimpse of the amount of information the system takes into account, namely some unit’s specs.

We have taken one unit per faction, showing the relevant data of each one of them. They are not intended to be an a priori representative of their faction, but we think that they will be able to depict properly the developer’s sheer commitment in delivering the most accurate tactical wargame on the Cold War.

Armored Brigade will be available on November 15th.

Marder has incredible stats. It says damage v Soft is HIGH, yet the ATGM weapon is highlighted. Am I missing something?

Yep Marder is showing the Milan stats but i dont see it so incredible because range is "only" 2000m, if you are facing AFVs autogun+missile combo is letal (i think Marder is a bit stronger VS autoguns compared with soviet combo AFVs) specially VS BTRs and similar AFVs but VS MBTs... at 2000m anything over a T-62 has a good chance to oneshot the Marder.

Any way in NATO arsenal is with Bradley the best AFV if you need deal with enemy armor and very capable to bully soviet infantry vehicles.

2000 yards is 90 Accuracy vs M1 would be 65 Accuracy. PEN is 420 vs M1 PEN 340. Does Accuracy 90 mean it hits 90 of the time? How does PEN work., wouldn't we need to see an ARMOR rating or something that would tell us what this difference would be between a 420 PEN and a 340?

I would assume 1.79kg of explosives hitting your squad could be defined a significant emotional event. MILAN was used against bunkers and entrenchments in Falklands and HEAT often doubles as anti-personnel round (albeit less efficient than a proper HE).
