Answering the Emperors call

Post by Blond_Knight »

After painting some Revolutionary war, and Samurai models from WarlordGames I have finally given myself and wallet to the Emperor.
These are the first Ultramarines from the Battle for Macragge starter set I picked up on ebay last week.

Looks good. But you could have painted them for other chapter if you had wanted to.
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

True, but I feel that darker colored chapters, say Blood Angels, are too dark to show a lot of detail or there isn't enough contrast for my taste.
Plus I like that the Ultramarines are loosely based off the Roman empire.

They will probably be worth more than all the WH digital games put together
