Just an update that I am currently on holiday touring in Europe and will not be back to the states until the end if the month. At which time i will update the AAR which I currently have turn 4 in my possession.

Or should I go ahead and shut down the AAR? ;-p

Well, we also have internet, electricity, WIFI... in Europe [;)]

Concerning the game, fighting forward against a good german player is like climbing the Everest with bare feet.

When I played Beender as Soviet I tried fighting forward too....

I think we called that one by turn 5!
Big mistake [:D]

Yeah he made me feel like my Axis playstyle was a lame, tame kitten comparatively

VERY deep lunges with his panzers
I did embrace a few of the buggers into the arms of communism (Can't remember how many would have to ask Jing if he remembers) but still writing was on the wall you can't out agress a player like Beender was not used to that kind of player at all so struggled with the shock tbh

He had told me he has dialed back his aggresion since we last played so sure he won't make those kind of mistakes again and has adapted his playstyle to minimise weaknesses throughly since we last played

It'll be a good match I am sure as you are both some of the hardest matches I have had in different ways and both darn hard to deal with for long for different reasons so very excited to see how it goes forward [:)]

He's all about the shock and knock out blows
And as Soviets you are all about slowly bleeding Axis to death by a thousand cuts

It'll be a great read and a fun clash of playstyles in the match up for both of you I hope!

Good luck!

Sounds like a tooth and nail match of you both trying to gain the initiative in that case

I look forward to that catching up too then as that kind of stuff makes for an entertaining 41 read

Lol I remember losing two panzers in a single turn in one of our games[:D]
