Armageddon War board game looks nice

Post by jack54 »

I think I would like this... Armageddon War (by Flying Pig Games)

https://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame ... geddon-war

set in the relatively near future... components look awesome.

Yeap, FPG does some nice stuff, and gotta give them credit for some awesome game components too, that´s for sure!

Thanks Jason,

Robert did a nice job on the review.... I appreciate how he was concerned about the theme but once he started playing it was ok. I actually like the theme now that I know it's not very far into the future. I wouldn't want ray guns and such. The continuous Play chit draw (IMHO) seems to work well The difficult thing with board games is deciding ($80) is always a tough choice.Plus Mrs.Jack54 doesn't 'get it'.

Choices to be made

South China Sea (Compass Games), Next War: Taiwan (GMT) or Armageddon WAR (Flying Pig Games) which has a solo add-on.

SCS is cheaper but Armageddon seems bigger not sure though could just be the components.
