Naval Support Replacement

Post by rjopel »

Why is replacing Naval Support Squads so slow? I have over 160 in the pool, need over 600 and I drew 9.

New squads and devices never come in an instant. You can speed up replacement by having a unit in rest mode in a big base with lots of supply, but you will still wait a couple months e.g. for those US base forces to fill up

Tracker shot of Base Force. While I have plenty of supply and plenty of Naval Support it's not drawing from pool. Aviation spt, regular support and all the others are drawing everything produced that turn in order to fill out units. I also see this every other game I've played. Naval Support takes forever to draw.

To get more than 1 device per turn, you want to make sure every base near San Francisco has at least 2x their needed supply (and is in supply range). Note that the unit has to pass checks to get more than 1 device...

This part might be myth, but I always liked having units near multiple bases that all have manpower of at least 1.

Set stockpiling to ON for all USA devices.

Allow your USN BFs to take Replacements.

Watch them fill with lots of Naval Support squads every turn.
