"Attack hex" feature

Post by Rosseau »

I'm sure it's staring me in the face, but:

In scenario editor, when editing (new or existing scenario), I go to Scenario Attributes and see the usual Advance option. But how do I use the "attack hex" command with the new version?

Thanks

When the AI has the Advance option there is two ways of selecting the Attack A Hex Command.

1. When you insert a Unit you can choose it in the AI Special Command window of the UNIT Attributes Window that appears when units are inserted to the scenario

2. If a Unit is already added to the scenario you can give a Unit the command by selecting the unit in the Order of Battle window, then choosing Modify unit and select the command the same way as in 1.

Very cool and makes perfect sense. I will assume, unless you tell me no, that each individual AI unit can have an attack hex! My gosh, what Rico could have done with that is frightening [;)]

Thanks for the response, Paullus.
