Chemical Weapons

Are their features specific in this game system for the use of chemical weapons? I notice that equipment can be edited to adjust NBC protection, but I don't see anything that gives weapons systems chemical capabilities. There looks like there is a nuclear option, but I don't see one for chemical weapons. Am I missing something? Is there a specific way to employ chemical weapons in this game?

Chemicals are released by event. See 17.9.4 in the manual.
