USSR surrenders too soon! Any way to boost their NM mid-game?

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

USSR surrenders too soon! Any way to boost their NM mid-game?

Post by moose99 »

Hi

I am having a blast playing a modded version of the 1944 scenario as Germany.
I am in the late fall of 1947 and am finally closing in on Stalingrad after years of long, hard slaughter.
But then the USSR breaks! They've run out of National morale and surrender...
Talk about an anti-climax.
Is there anything I can do at this point to keep the game going and the USSR in it?
I tried editing the save-game file to boost their NM, but it does not seem possible...

Hi Moose99,

Unfortunately there is no way to edit the NM once a game has started. One option would be to edit it to a higher value in the Editor for a customized version of the campaign prior to your next game. But if you have a saved game handy prior to it surrendering, please send me an email at support@furysoftware.com and I can take a look on my end to see if there is anything that can be done this one time so you can enjoy your game to completion.
