It's lower than the minimum resolution but yes you can play it.
The only issue I can see is that the button to add/remove the right hand details pane is not visible (so you can't add/remove it).

the only problem is the battle report, slightly larger than the main window.

Well, that's 2 problems, but as I said that resolution is below the minimum requirements...
