Hex info

Post by Duck Doc »

When I right click an empty hex I get nice hex info regarding terrain. If, however, the hex is occupied by friendly or enemy units and I right click I get no hex terrain info. Is this a deliberate design decsion?

If you zoom in and right click in the hex but not above a unit, it will work.

Removing units from map should be an easier way to do it but it does not work, ghost units are still there and clickable. It still let you see the terrain below.

Would really like the terrain box to appear or have the option for it to appear on all hexes, occupied or not. Why not?

I understand. Perhaps if units are transparent (ghosted) then right clicking should always show terrain details, not units details.

Yes, that would work nicely.

We could have a toggle option for that perhaps? -- transparent units are clickable on one toggle (they should always be mousable, I suppose?), but on the other toggle any click on the hex goes to the terrain.

Well, double click removes a details...or do you mean press the button twice results in that behaviour?
