Thanks Wodin!

Is TU still beta? Because after this update I get "TU v1.2.01 Beta B5a Standard (23/01/2018).

PoA2.5 seems fine (none beta).

Thanks

Oki, thanks Wodin! Yeah I know, Scott will always be in WIP mode [:D] Just wanted to confirm it was the right version.

On another forum was said something like this about Starshatter game:
I don't think this game will ever be done
My wife says the same
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

TU should say "1.2.10 Standard" (check your paths and shortcuts' paths, blah blah)

POA2.5 should say "2.5.11 Standard"

I'm pretty sure there will probably be future updates. In spite of that firm belief, these two updates are not considered betas and are final unless something comes up.

After having spent $120 for both his games, Iam NOT going to go after Scott or anybody else anymore with regards to things not working, wrong paths etc.

Path is default by the way, PoA2.5 installed updated just fine, then why didn´t TU? Iam just not going for it!

Were all grown up for all this at this point! A revised business plan dosen´t seem to sink in after all these years, so not going to waste more time/money anymore!

End of the story...

Try a clean/new install? (I just renamed my original's directory as a backup first)

With the excahnge of so many betas/fixes since I got the games a year ago, I don´t really know which are the originals any more...

As I said, quite tired of this back and forth thing!

I have not changed the default path/file (HPS Simulations) since day one. PoA2.5 update installed just fine. Why didn´t TU´s update then? Is there neglected fix somewhere?

This chase for updates, fixes and how-to´s is getting old to be honest!

Really, make things easier for the end user. Make a working game for the most part, optimize the game so a turn is NOT 20min. long with FOW and at level 3, THEN keep on working on it by adding things or what ever rocks your boat to make it better.

Just my $120 worth...

So like everything with war games, give it time, each new build will get better, with age and fixes

Hi Zak

I mean no disrespect. Are you serious? [X(]

Which is why I suggested a clean install (while leaving the old ones available, which were apparently working).
