Rico, I just don't get it. The one objective is beyond reach of the attacker. There are 3 fortified locations that seem to be there just for looks because they are not tactically located.
Without an objective or something of value why are they fighting? I eliminated every defender by turn 5 and felt kinda empty because just for fun I went after the defender making their
destruction my objective. Killing for nothing ain't right.[:(]

Thanks Hailstone.
In the original scenario, the objective of the Americans is to leave no unit in "moral good order" on the map.
The unreachable Victory Point is only there to operate the "command attack hexpoint x, y" command for american armor.
Without a victory point, only the american infantry moves.
Yes, it's a bug.[:D]

Oh yes, I forgot, the 3 "F" are decoys to make believe that the main defense is at this place. Success, right?[:D]

SPOILER ALERT

ok , I think i see where you are coming from rico.
Like Hailstone I was a little bit confused .
I positioned my starting forces to focus on the fortified positions .
I then move towards them expecting a lot of resistance.
I then spend turns moving through fortified positions that are not held instead of focusing on the VC`s.
Which are -Kill them all-.
Meanwhile the turn clock is counting down.

The best way I could sum this scenario up -
A perceived threat can be just as effective as a real threat.

It is a scenario to be played once from the American side.
It would be hard to replay , the beauty of it is the uncertainty .

It is not a standard Toth scenario.

Well done Rico ,
I enjoyed it .

I got an American Major Victory on first try by using two different squads using double time movement down two sides of map with the bulk of my troops following behind searching out the enemy.
Just luck as usually that doesn't work, but the lone victory point out of the playing area and the distance required to reach it in time allotted led me to believe I needed to go fast.
Still, it took the last turn to wipe out the last enemy unit to get that victory so it was an enjoyable scenario.
