I posted this in General, but I know not everyone here reads that.

Woke up this morning to find my pickup running all by itself. Door was locked, no alarm going off for no FOB in the vehicle, no footprints in the snow...

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot says I [&:]

It turns out UConnect is pushing out a major software update. One of the side effects is your car starting up on it's own. You don't need Remote Start for this to happen, either. Heck, you don't even need to be in your vehicle! [X(]

I'm guessing this is a bug[:-] But if you have UConnect, keep an eye on your car!
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I don't even know what UConnect is. I guess it is not a problem for me. [8D]

That could get somebody killed if the vehicle is in an attached garage.

Take it to your car dealer requesting 20 bucks for the fuel wasted by your car starting and running the engine on its own for hours.
And ask how to prevent this from happening again.
