There is a Spitfire and some naval bombers (without strat bombing capability) in Liverpool. One LND2 and one NAV4 with limited strat bombing capability left. And Alexander (HQI) is available for reorganization.

Germany intercepts with Bf110 landing back to same hex where it starts.

Italy allows CW to try night bombing in snow fall, no interception.

Allies counter with a 9 and no effect. Allies stay. Will the German fighter remain as well?

There will now be a break for dinner with the family.

No thank you. Pilots return back to base, shooting all rounds to air on way back home and tell their superior they really did try everything until run out of ammo.

Both sides roll 5 for the initiative. Alas, Axis has a positive bonus to the die roll and wins.
