I have the base CMANO game and updated to v1.14 ( with hotfixes ).

I recently purchased and installed two DLCs--Chains of War and Shifting Sands. Are there separate updates available for these or is it only necessary to update the base game ?

There is not.

Either way, you can play the DLCs from the main game, the scenarios will be up to date when loading them in there once you update the base game.
