Search is a pain !!

Guys, you've got such a nice forum and company ! I'm a supporter and client of Matrixgames since the begining. Remember the free release of spwaw back in the 90's ? I spent 24hours to DL it with my 28.8 modem.
I dont understand why you're not changing the forums SEARCH feature ?!
It' a real pain. Serioulsy, each time I want to make a search I have to pierce my eyes and get a headache with this dreadful box to find where the heck my game is.

Yeah Rico, sometimes you need to learn how to reign it in. Time and a place for certain types of posts. You can easily be seen as a nuisance rather than an asset on forums if you don't know when and what to post in threads. Just some friendly advice😀

gotta agree with nukkxx on this one. Most forums have an easy option to just search within the forum that you are currently reading. I don't see that option with Matrix, you have to scroll around and find it in a huge list, and even then you have to remember to select each of the potentially relevant subforums as well. I usually just don't bother...

IIRC we are working to upgrade all the forums, but it is a pretty large task, especially to keep all the old content. And it does tend to mean we aren't upgrading the existing forums. We appreciate that some of the UX has rotted a little [:)]

Forum is old but it's still the best for information and wargaming material. Slitherine forum is fairly easy to use
