In the logistics event log there is a section on freight which looks very useful. here is an example

Sup need sup rec sup lost repfr rec repmn rec repfr lost
2,468 6,613 830 7,097 2,642 40 8th army

a) what does repfr rec and repmn rec mean

b) what causes sup lost

THANK YOU

repfr - are replacement frames (remember that a lot of tanks etc are built from a core frame and then guns etc are added), so think of this as significant replacements
repmn - replacement manpower

suplost - think this is part set by default and in part a product of any truck shortages in depots (so this causes additional wastage as things get lost in the system)

In truth, as the player there is very little you can do to influence this type of thing. Some will reflect how you set your supply priorities and use refit mode but its mostly the automated workings of the logistics system.

Loki,

Thanks for the explanation.

Using his example, did the 8th Army actually receive 7,097 replacement frames?

I think the repfr is replacement freight received, that is how many tons of freight went into providing replacements of men and equipment. So in your example the 8th Army received 7097 tons of freight, and 2,642 men.
All understanding comes after the fact.
