60k resources in Tokyo. It means crisis.
You have more than 1 mln resources in Hakodate, easy to transport to Omimato.
But 1 mln resources is still only for less than month, maybe week or two.
Tokyo and Osaka have been in crisis for weeks. I'm glad I posted this graphic as Tokyo has been much worse (hence my reference to HI being in free fall) I now have many convoys in the pipeline and the first 100 000 resource convoy to Tokyo is a day or two out. It is a long way down the track but if my next game is another of LSTs Mods I will be doing plenty of pre planning instead of jumping in cold like I did with this one. All good though as it is making me learn the game.

And here I was thinking that I had let supply slip somewhat in Tokyo! :) One day I will get tracker but up and running for this game. I have used it before and like the graphs particularly to give an idea of how things are tracking... so to speak.

I must have already had far too strong a drink from the well of unbridled optimism. I have no idea why I went for an attack without checking what was there with a bombardment first up. One infantry battalion about to be decimated, and the worst part is this is a component part of 55th Division. Better rouse up some reserved back home and get them to Burma pronto. Far too tricksy for my own good trying to give those Allied units at Moulmein a hard time. My goodness but Mundy has some troops stashed away in this area. I have located the main fighting force making an exit from Moulmein. Looks like Rangoon is not going to be a pushover.

I have been playing around with Tracker and ver 1.1. The addition of a huge industry base nw of Oita seems like it might really impact the resource requirements for Honshu. Also, it seems like Hokkaido doesn't really generate the huge resource windfall that normally happens although there is a nice stockpile there at game start. The normal shortfall on Honshu for resources is c70-80K resources, and I think this mod it is substantially higher.

However, I have been getting very funky results in tracker and I think there might be some misallocation of inputs so this is a very rough seat of the pants guess until I get tracker up and running 100% or crunch the numbers.

Still, can't say enough good things about this mod -- everytime I open her up there are dozens of new discoveries.

I like this mod. I play it and this is very interesting.
But we (I and my allied oponent Dave) changed some industry shortcomings.
For example we downgrade HI/LI resource request from 25 to 20 and also we increased resource center on DEI, Malaya, Philipines, Indochina and Burma.
Before it Japan resource deficit from start was about more than 100k resources per day (I don't remmember 120k, 200k?).Manchukuo/China area including.
It wasn't to cover from conquest.
After changes I also had deficyt but much smaller.
My Japan resource resreves downgraded from more than 5 mln to 1 mln per month. But now I stabilized it. Still I use Manchukuo reserves but I should change it in a short time.
The use of the commercial fleet and fuel is enormous.
My english isn't very good, sorry for it.

The huge industry base nw of Oita are the Yahata steel works. Here is why I have created that base and why I gave it a lot of HI centers:
By 1912, 80% of Japan's pig iron production was from Yahata. An integrated mill with coke, iron, and steel facilities, Yahata was also responsible at this time for 80-90% of Japan's steel output. [...] Much of the iron ore was from China and Korea.

The continuing importance of the Yahata Steel Works to Japan's heavy industry led to Yahata being identified as a target for strategic bombing during the Pacific War, commencing with the Bombing of Yahata in June 1944, by which time the works produced 24% of Japan's rolled steel. The works were identified as the target for the second atomic bomb on 9 August 1945; due to cloud cover this was redirected to Nagasaki.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yawata_Steel_Works

I have moved many resource centers from Hokkaido to Korea/Manchukuo/SRA because too many resources are being produced in the Home Islands compared to imports - see italics above.

And thx for the flowers [:)]

But you have more supply in Tokyo than I have in whole Japan. :-)
You should think about WitPtracker. It is useful tool for planning and industry control.
And here I was thinking that I had let supply slip somewhat in Tokyo! :) One day I will get tracker but up and running for this game. I have used it before and like the graphs particularly to give an idea of how things are tracking... so to speak.

Nice pick up there Lowpe. I’ve noted the storage of resources at Kokura (fluctuates between 70 000 to 110 000 a day). Had not gone as far as doing a proper check. The existence of the HI there does explain the pooling of resources at this location. Good work LST for getting the second A Bomb target on the board.

I have included a graphic of the current top 13 pools of resources around the map. Port Arthur, of course is the go to port but Hakodate has plenty too. Saigon and CRB also have sizeable quantities of resources to haul back to Japan. Tokyo and Osaka are conspicuous by their absence. My job is to get the stockpiles at these two places on the up and up.

Well a remarkably bad result. Not the combat but my poor effort at co-ordinating the passage over the causeway. At the end of the previous turn 18th Division and the few artillery units above had managed to move themselves a mere 1 mile in front of the pack. I figured that 1 mile would not be an issue and that the whole stack would make the crossing this turn. How wrong I was. Bad as the damage is at least it isn’t a destroyed division. Quite the nuisance now as the pack will come across next turn (with 5 divisions) and there will be at least another trashed division for sure because of the main group making the crossing.
