Axis minor locked units in forward HQ's

Post by thedoctorking »

I've noticed on a couple of occasions that Axis minor units either are active while their HQ's are locked back in the home country or the HQ and some units attached to it are active while other units are locked. Either way, it is wasteful of AP's and in the latter case can't even be remedied by reassigning the offending units. It would be nice if this could be fixed, maybe by making sure that all units in a particular command are unlocked at the same time. Maybe all Axis minor units in the home country could be assigned to a home front command?

Here's the VI Rumanian Corps. The 3rd Rum Mountain Brigade is back home somewhere.

And here's IV Finnish Corps. Same problem, the Coastal Brigade is locked up back home.

There's also a Romanian corps that is attached to an army HQ that is locked. So a dozen AP or so are required to change it to an active army, or else it's leader is always failing his rolls because he's hundreds of miles away. Don't remember which corps it is.

But corps do not have a range penalty?

As Tele said first command in HQ has no range penalties for checks

Minor allies unfortunately fail easier than Germans as they are less experienced, have lower morale and not as well equiped so you need more umpf with them to get the job done.

Try fighting with 3-4 times the CV values for wins to get their morale up and you will get better results bud
