Give them a volley!

Post by Blond_Knight »

Hey guys, I thought Id post a pic of the first group of Redcoats Im painting from the Warlord games "Liberty or Death battle set".
I haven't painted in 20 years and it shows. But I can see improvement, even though it looks like I painted some of them with my toes.

Nice!..Would look nice on a sand table!...What scale?

I once knew a guy who had the entire Army of the Potomac and Army of Northern Virginia...painted and in scale.

Thank guys! I believe they are 28mm, which is much smaller than the Tamiya 1/35 figures I painted when I was in my twenties. The set contains almost 300 models including Hessians, Continental, Militia, Indians, and of course the British. I feel certain I'll be painting these guys for the rest of my life! :)
Ive discovered if I take out my contacts and use my reading glasses I can see a bunch of spots I was missing before. Which tempts me to go back and restart.

Present ... FIRE!

Warlord Games are based in my home County. They're a good company.

Very nice. And inspiring. [:)]
